First time in Beijing — is 3 days enough for the highlights?

Forbidden City, Great Wall, and a hutong day. Doable in three days without rushing, or should I cut something?

Very doable. Day 1 Forbidden City + Jingshan sunset, Day 2 Mutianyu Great Wall (less crowded than Badaling), Day 3 hutongs + Temple of Heaven. Book the Forbidden City ticket online in advance — it sells out.
