Good to know

  • Da Nang is the perfect base for Hoi An (40 min) and the imperial city of Hue (2 hrs).
  • The Hai Van Pass north of the city is one of Asia’s great coastal drives.
  • Beaches are best from February to May, before the summer heat and autumn rains.

Getting there

Da Nang International Airport (DAD) sits right in the city with wide domestic and regional links; it is a central stop on the north–south railway.
